Job summary

Brightview Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting Team. You will manage day-to-day general ledger, mentor staff accountants, and lead resolution of complex financial issues while driving process improvements.

This role provides full-cycle accounting, modeling, and analytics across multiple entities and communities. The position supports year-end audits, budgeting, and tax projections using financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance; 3+ years accounting/finance experience in residential property management or related field.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred or equivalent certification/experience.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general ledger applications.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager preferred but not required.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to model and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day full cycle accounting for assigned entities and development communities.
• Maintain monthly workpapers, reconciliations, journal entries, wire requests, payables, inter-company transactions and draw requests.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations; resolve problematic transactions.
• Execute month-end close per established timelines.
• Prepare weekly cash requirement reports and assist in AP selection.
• Review and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.
• Assist with investor capital calls and distributions including waterfall calculations.
• Support year-end audit—gather PBCs, prepare work papers and financial statements.
• Participate in budgets, reforecasts and tax projections using financial modeling.
• Prepare payroll entries and liaise with payroll services.
• Provide backup to Treasury for inter-company settlements and banking transfers.
• Assist in annual tax PBC requests with external partners.
