Potbelly is seeking a Senior Accountant to support franchise accounting, internal reporting, and corporate accounting across the organization. The role ensures accuracy of financial information through journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and system administration to maintain data integrity.

The Senior Accountant partners with Operations, Finance, Franchising, and IT to drive continuous process improvements, lease and fixed asset accounting, and internal/external audits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills.
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
• Experience with Toast, ADP, NetSuite or Workday.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and record journal entries and account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with accurate reporting.
• Support franchise accounting activities, technical research, and issue resolution.
• Review franchise-related entries and provide guidance for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable franchise growth.
