Job summary

Topgolf in Dallas is seeking a Senior Accountant focused on Fixed Assets and Prepaid Expenses to manage the asset register, depreciation, and reporting. You will partner with procurement and finance to ensure accurate accounting and timely information for management.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with ERP systems. This role supports monthly closes, audits, and GAAP compliance within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including fixed asset and/or prepaid expense accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and internal controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the fixed asset register accurately and timely.
• Process acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets.
• Calculate depreciation and revaluation entries per GAAP.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reconciliations.
• Prepare fixed asset schedules and management reports.
• Maintain and reconcile prepaid expense schedules and amortization to P&L.
• Review contracts/invoices to determine proper prepaid vs. expense treatment.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for fixed assets and prepaid expenses.
• Assist audits and financial reporting as required.
