Job summary

Gogo is seeking a detail-oriented Fixed Asset Accountant in Denver to manage long-term property, record purchases, and track depreciation across multiple locations. You will ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and assist with audits and tax filings.

The role requires 2–5 years in fixed asset or general ledger work, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems such as Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years in general ledger or fixed asset accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (BC, SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards).
• Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS and capitalization thresholds.

Responsibilities

• Asset tracking and maintaining asset cards for purchases across locations.
• Calculate and post monthly depreciation schedules.
• Process asset retirements, transfers, and disposals.
• Perform month-end reconciliations between sub-ledger and GL.
• Review capitalization versus expensing on purchase requests.
• Assist with audits and tax filings.
