Job summary

Jobtailor in Dallas is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage general accounting functions including fixed assets, lease accounting, accruals, intercompany accounts and journal entries.

Responsibilities include maintaining the billing system, AR records, and cash management, as well as supporting audits and internal controls. A CPA track is preferred and a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Accounts receivable, billing, or revenue accounting experience is a plus.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Outlook and Great Plains software or equivalent ERP.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in general accounting: fixed assets, lease accounting, accruals, intercompany accounts, and journal entries.
• Maintain billing system, generate and send invoices.
• Maintain accounts receivable records, aging, credits, collections, and discrepancies.
• Perform daily cash management duties and post cash to AR sub-ledger.
• Prepare analytical and ratio analyses related to accounts receivable.
• Assist with audits by gathering necessary information.
• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments.
• Partner with Finance leadership to support accurate reporting and internal controls.
