Caribou is seeking a high-integrity Senior Accountant to own day-to-day GL activity and help build scalable accounting systems. You’ll focus on GAAP adherence, high-volume refinance transactions, and end-to-end PPE analysis, while supporting monthly reporting and close processes in a fast-paced fintech environment.

The role includes cross-team collaboration and process improvements, with flexible remote options from several states and hybrid in Denver or Chandler offices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 3–6 years in progressive accounting roles, fintech or large corporate experience valued.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and strong Excel skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee high-volume daily refinance loan transactions and bank reconciliations.
• Own PPE analysis, capitalization entries, and schedule reconciliations.
• Lead onboarding for new lenders and ensure system and approval routing readiness.
• Perform month-end close, complex journal entries and accruals to deadlines.
• Support monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and budget reviews.
• Automate close procedures to improve timelines and controls.
• Collaborate to enforce GAAP-compliant processes and internal controls.
• Assist cross-functional teams with audits and ad hoc analyses.
