Job summary

Thorough-Staff LLC in Melville seeks a Senior Accountant to support the Financial Reporting Team. You will handle monthly reconciliations, close processes, and data integrity across entities, markets, and contracts.

The role includes assisting with SEC filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K/Proxy) and earnings materials. A BA/BS in accounting and 2+ years of related experience are required; CPA is a plus, not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Communication and people skills required.
• Public or private accounting experience preferred (2+ years).
• CPA license is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Record entries and close activities for monthly and quarterly periods.
• Maintain data integrity across multiple reporting dimensions.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly reporting packages (BS, IS, cash flows).
• Assist with SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy).
• Prepare quarterly earnings materials and press filings for SEC reporting.
