Job Summary

The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will be a key contributor within the Corporate Finance team, primarily supporting financial reporting duties and technical accounting tasks during month-end close. Candidates should be highly motivated, organized, thorough, and focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end close and financial reporting schedules.
• Assist with SEC filings, including disclosures and tie-out procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, preparing support documentation.
• Handle technical accounting topics such as stock compensation, debt, derivatives, ASC 842 leases, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance and support operations.
• Conduct technical research and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with SOX.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Technical expertise in stock compensation, debt, derivatives, leases, and M&A accounting.
• Proficiency with financial reporting systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education/Requirements
