Huk Gear in Charleston, SC is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations. This role oversees general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and other essential processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least three years of related experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with accounting software and MS Office. Retail experience is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum three years of related accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with cost accounting and general ledger.
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Manage general ledger and monthly close processes.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and P&L.
• Code invoices, set up accounts, reconcile and close monthly books.
• Reconcile bank and cash disbursement accounts; manage payroll and customer accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist with annual audits.
• File tax forms with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Maintain property, plant, and equipment records.
• Collaborate with software vendors to maintain accounting systems.
