Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/construction accounting strongly preferred.
• Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience for financial reporting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills and analytical ability.
• CPA or CPA track is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and balance sheet integrity.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Generate and distribute financial reports through NetSuite.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Analyze variances and recommend improvements to financial performance.
• Develop and enhance accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
• Partner with operations and project teams for accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

We are partnering with a growing Charleston-based company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team and play a key role in supporting the organization's continued growth. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, contribute to strategic financial initiatives, and help drive process improvements across the accounting function.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and/or construction accounting environments, along with hands-on experience utilizing NetSuite for financial reporting and analysis.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. This individual will serve as a key contributor to the accounting team and collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
