Job summary

CherCo LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, general ledger activities, and month-end/year-end closing. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to management.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and professional certification preferred. This on-site position offers opportunities to lead and improve accounting processes within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent preferred.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Support tax schedules and regulatory compliance.
• Assist audits and provide documentation.
• Develop internal controls and improve processes.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate with others.
