Job summary

Professional Recruiting, LLC is seeking a qualified Senior Financial Analyst for our client in Covington, LA. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing monthly, mid-year, and annual financial statements, with close activities and variance analysis to support reporting accuracy.

You'll collaborate across accounting and operations, contribute to process improvements, and participate in audits and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2-4+ years of public accounting or corporate financial reporting experience.
• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, mid-year, and annual financial statements, reporting packages, and schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and variance analyses.
• Research technical accounting matters and assist with internal and external audits.
• Collaborate across accounting and operational departments to ensure accurate reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting efficiencies, and special accounting projects.

Prepare and review monthly, mid-year, and annual financial statements and reporting packages while supporting month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and variance analysis. Research technical accounting matters, assist with audits, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting, and contribute to process improvements and special accounting projects.

• Prepare and review monthly, mid-year, and annual financial statements, reporting schedules, and financial reporting packages.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and variance analyses.
• Research and document technical accounting matters and assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Work across accounting and operational departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting efficiencies, and special accounting projects.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-4+ years of public accounting or corporate financial reporting experience
• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
