Job summary

Unknown company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. The role offers exposure to financial reporting, month-end close, consolidations, and more complex accounting activities while working with an experienced finance team.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 2–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate), strong Excel skills, and a collaborative mindset. CPA progression is a plus. This on-site role is based in Berwyn, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Approximately 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or a corporate accounting environment.
• CPA or progress toward CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for various balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with consolidated financial reporting and related accounting activities.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support the preparation of financial information for internal and external reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with other accounting and finance team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Participate in accounting process improvements and special projects.
