Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliation, and financial statements.
• Inventory or wholesale/distribution accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• CPA certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle AP and AR processes.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage and review payroll records.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
• Monitor company cash flow, expenses, and outstanding receivables.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting and reconcile inventory records.
• Prepare and maintain sales tax records and filings.
• Assist with budgeting and financial analysis.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and internal controls.
• Coordinate with the company’s CPA for tax preparation and year-end reporting.
• Provide regular financial reports to company management.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend improvements to financial procedures.
