Job summary

The Senior Accountant role in Phoenix, AZ offers exposure to financial analysis, forecasting, cash flow, and business operations, partnering with senior leadership on strategic insights.

You will own payroll processing, AR cycles, reconciliations, and monthly/year-end close activities, while supporting budgeting and cash management initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This hands-on position emphasizes collaboration across departments and leadership visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer billing, collections, and account maintenance.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities; review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and unusual variances.
• Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to support management decision-making.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and ongoing cash management.
• Support financial reforecasting and budgeting activities.
• Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Analyze trends, variances, and key financial metrics and communicate findings to leadership.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting schedules and documentation as needed.
