Job summary

Sammons Warehouse Solutions seeks a Senior Accountant to own SG&A accounting across multiple business units. This highly visible role focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and process improvement.

You’ll drive the SG&A month-end close, manage accruals and reconciliations, and support budgeting, forecasting, and audits while preparing for the NetSuite migration.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of experience; CPA candidates preferred; advanced Excel and ERP experience required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years progressive accounting experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems required.
• CPA candidates or those pursuing CPA preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Own the SG&A month-end close including four-day close, accruals, journal entries, reconciliations and close checklists.
• Analyze SG&A results, investigate variances, identify trends and cost opportunities; support budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash management and audits.
• Work across multiple accounting systems; support consolidations and NetSuite migration readiness.
• Create and maintain clear processes, controls, documentation, and checklists to improve accuracy and efficiency.
