Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant in Dallas to join a rapidly growing energy infrastructure company. You will manage journal entries, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting for project activity.

The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and proficiency with Excel. Expect collaboration with multiple teams and support for audits and tax filings. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience is required.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to keep the general ledger accurate and up-to-date.
• Review project expenses and ensure costs are properly capitalized.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and other departments to gather information for project accounting.
• Track and record capital activity including capital calls, distributions, and transfers.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handle monthly sales and use tax reporting.
• Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to project activity.
• Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and coordinating with external auditors.
• Coordinate with the tax team to provide documentation for tax filings.
