Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy in Dallas, TX seeks a Staff Accountant (P1) to maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements for assigned projects. You'll reconcile accounts, handle revenue invoicing, and assist with fixed assets and AP coding.

You'll work closely with Asset Managers, support annual audits, and help improve accounting processes in a hands-on, detail-oriented environment with strong deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Accounting (or equivalent) and 2+ years of related work experience.
• Technical and analytical accounting background with GAAP knowledge.
• Ability to meet deadlines for monthly/quarterly reporting with proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare routine journal entries, revenue invoicing, and fixed assets.
• Assist in financial statements, variance analyses, and audits as needed.
• Coordinate with Asset Managers on project financial results and AP coding.
