Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our energy-industry team. You will manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong GAAP knowledge with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum five years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulations.
• Experience with journal entries, AP, AR, internal controls, audit support, and reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP, AR, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure internal controls and assist in new policies and procedures.
• Provide audit support and liaise with external auditors.
• Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports with insights.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial reporting and processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
