Job summary

Binance.US is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Controllership team. You will execute accounting for Balance Sheet and Income Statement areas within OPEX, including AP, T&E, accruals, prepaid expenses and payroll.

You will lead month-end close, support audits, and own end-to-end Accounts Payable with cross-functional collaboration. The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, CPA preferred, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• CPA license preferred.
• Crypto accounting experience is a plus.
• Direct experience performing detailed and data intensive reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close by preparing OPEX accruals, prepaid schedules, expense allocations, payroll journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, FP&A, Legal and People to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation and offering necessary explanations.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including flux analysis.
• Develop, maintain, and improve accounting workpapers to support financial analysis, reporting, and process automation.
• Own end-to-end Accounts Payable, including vendor setup, purchase order issuance and invoice matching, invoice processing, and weekly AP payment cycles.
• Process one-off and ad-hoc payments that require judgment and discretion.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor accounts.
• Review GL coding on T&E and credit card transactions and attach supporting documentation as needed.
• Participate in projects and respond to ad-hoc financial requests as needed.
