A digital asset company is looking for a Senior Crypto Accountant to join their finance team. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including financial reporting and DeFi accounting. The ideal candidate must be Web3-fluent with a strong understanding of DeFi and onchain finance, possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and have advanced knowledge of GAAP compliance. Senior Accountant (Crypto) – NYC/US/Global Remote (EST) – Full-time

Plexus are working with a digital asset company, building financial infrastructure to onboard financial institutions into DeFi. They have already partnered with leading players such as Paypal, Paxos, Aave, Euler and Chainlink – scaling fast across 4 key verticals (Lending/Liquidity Solutions, Institutional Treasury Management, Stablecoin Adoption + Advisory).

They are looking for a Senior Crypto Accountant to join their finance team. This job will require you to be available in an EST timezone. Details as follows:

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to: Month-end close, financial reporting, DeFi accounting, Digital Asset accounting, Process/Operational Improvements, Financial Controlling
• Continuous upskilling and upgrading of AI Tools and process automations, leveraging the latest technology to continue scaling ahead of competition
• Various analyst and auditing responsibilities, ensuring US-GAAP compliance

Requirements

• Must be Web3-fluent, strong understanding of DeFi and onchain finance
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or finance from a respected institution
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP compliance + standard, professional experience with US GAAP Accounting is non-negotiable
