Job summary

Obsidian Systems is seeking a contract accountant to support end-of-year close and ongoing accounting for multiple entities. You’ll manage AR/AP, bank and crypto reconciliations, and ensure accuracy across fiat and crypto transactions in a remote-first, fast-moving environment.

You’ll help document workflows and improve processes as we scale, with potential transition to a permanent role in a rapidly evolving fintech setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable: invoicing, payments, and aging analysis across fiat and crypto.
