Senior Accountant (CPA) – Remote (West Coast)
Our healthcare client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join their team. This fully remote role supports high-volume accounting functions, reporting, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Ideal for a CPA with strong GAAP knowledge and experience in complex accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end close activities
• Analyze financial statements and provide supporting narratives
• Lead or support system implementations, audits, and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and enhance workflows
• Document and maintain procedures for general ledger and accounting operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s preferred)
• CPA certification required
• 5+ years of accounting or financial audit experience; healthcare experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain financial concepts clearly
• Skilled in managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines

Compensation: $45-$50/hr. (DOE)
