Job summary

Atrium, based in the Atlanta metro area, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the consolidated month-end close and financial reporting for a global operation. You will work across multiple currencies and ensure accurate intercompany eliminations under GAAP.

Atrium is recruiting for a Senior Accountant on behalf of a global corporation based in Atlanta Metro. This person will be responsible for managing the consolidated month-end close and financial reporting processes for the business. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, foreign currency (FX), and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes on multiple currencies, and prepare intercompany elimination entries
• Support the month-end close process in accordance with GAAP accounting protocol
• Prepare and review journal entries related to consolidations and close activities
• Perform account analyses and support balance sheet integrity during close including variance analysis
• Participate in process improvement initiative related to business integrations, systems implementations, and process automations.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• SAP, Oracle, Workday experience
• 4+ years of experience
• CPA is required
• Public accounting experience is a plus
