Job summary

TGC Search is seeking a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller for a private family office with a diversified portfolio of family-owned entities, investments, and assets. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days onsite weekly at the Sunny Isles Beach, FL office.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience, including month-end close, general ledger management, and coordination with outside CPAs and tax professionals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong month-end close and closing entries experience.
• Solid general ledger management and reconciliations.
• Experience coordinating with outside CPAs and tax professionals.
• Experience managing accounting for multiple entities or entities with varying activity.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and general ledger for ~24 entities.
• Prepare and post month-end close entries and perform reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for accuracy.
• Maintain records for entities with varying activity levels.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, tax advisors, attorneys, vendors, and other professionals.
