Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is partnering with a private investment and family office to hire a Family Office Assistant Controller / Senior Manager of Accounting. You will oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and investment operations across real estate, private equity, trusts, partnerships, and other structures, collaborating with senior leadership.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience and strong financial modeling, Excel, and communication

Qualifications

• CPA is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with multi-entity structures (trusts, partnerships, LLCs) preferred.
• Family office or private investment experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for trusts, LLCs, and investment structures.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for leadership.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and monthly/annual close processes.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and wire transfers.
• Coordinate with tax professionals, attorneys, and advisors on reporting and compliance.
• Support wealth planning initiatives through financial analysis.
• Provide insights for investment decisions and long-term strategy.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and strengthen controls.
• Mentor accounting staff and collaborate with senior leadership.
