Job summary

RANDALL is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Apopka, FL headquarters. You will support the monthly close, prepare journal entries, and maintain reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across balance sheets and WIP, with close deadlines and collaboration with auditors.

The position emphasizes GAAP compliance, intercompany activity, and coordination with project management and operations to consistently deliver precise financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Solid job-cost and general accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals and depreciation.
• Maintain schedules for prepaid expenses and fixed assets.
• Reconcile intercompany activity and resolve differences near month-end.
• Reconcile job-cost reports to the general ledger; investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly WIP, contract values, costs incurred, and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with project management and operations to resolve issues.
