Tecta America is seeking a Regional Senior Accountant for our Sanford, FL office to support accurate financial reporting and close activities. You will prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and project cost analyses while coordinating with regional leaders to ensure controls and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes training staff, improving processes, and collaboration across operating units.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least four years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Complete assigned close checklists and deliver accurate schedules and entries by deadlines.
• Prepare and record journal entries for depreciation, prepaid expenses, insurance, and other accounts.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or escalate.
• Reconcile project costs and WIP to GL and review with Regional Controller.
• Review SG&A expenses for variances and coding errors.
• Participate in CTC meetings and review WIP for changes in profitability.
• Investigate project cost discrepancies and communicate findings to leadership.
• Prepare project adjustments and accruals for review and approval.
• Prepare over/under billing entries and review cost allocations.
• Train operating unit staff on close procedures and reporting.
• Support process improvements and provide backup across units.
