Job summary

Advanced Giga Inc is hiring a Senior Accountant to own the accounting function for a manufacturer-billed contractor, spanning fabrication shops and construction sites. You will manage AP, AR, and expenses and own the close, reconciliations, and job-cost reporting.

The role requires 5+ years of construction or engineered-to-order accounting, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel, and the ability to lead the end-to-end close as the sole accounting professional in a growing infrastructure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in construction, industrial or engineered-to-order manufacturing.
• Experience with job costing, WIP, milestone or progress billing and PO-driven payables.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and strong in Excel.
• Ability to run full-cycle AP/AR and the close end to end.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable end to end with PO linkage and proper project coding.
• Own accounts receivable and milestone invoices per contract schedules.
• Process employee expense reports and corporate card activity.
• Run month-end close including reconciliations and book-to-bank tie-in.
• Build and maintain job costing by project and discipline.
• Produce project cost and WIP reporting for leadership.
• Maintain disciplined chart of accounts as transaction volume grows.
• Reconcile payroll and ensure ledger reconciliation.
• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition for long-duration contracts.
