Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial operations within a growing steel fabrication and manufacturing organization serving commercial construction across the Midwest. You will work closely with leadership, assist with project-related accounting, and help maintain financial health in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include general ledger entries, month-end close, project cost reporting, AIA billing support, accounts payable, and collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience required.
• Strong General Ledger and reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience supporting month-end close.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain schedules.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Analyze financial results and maintain accounting accuracy.
• Support payroll-related accounting activities.
• Review project cost reports and billing activity.
• Support change order tracking and project financial reporting.
• Assist with construction-related accounting documentation.
• Provide support for AIA billing and project accounting processes.
• Enter vendor invoices and assist with Accounts Payable.

General Accounting & Financial Reporting
