Job summary

Helmerich & Payne is seeking a Senior Accountant, Consolidations & Intercompany Accounting to join our Corporate Accounting team in Tulsa, OK. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, manage intercompany eliminations, and drive continuous improvements in consolidation processes.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, a strong grasp of U.S. GAAP, and expertise in multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including consolidations or intercompany accounting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations for domestic and international entities.
• Perform intercompany eliminations and consolidation entries.
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and schedules.
• Provide accurate information for external and internal reporting.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
