Job summary

Element Fleet Corporation seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting. You will drive month-end and quarter-end close activities, perform analyses, reconciliations, and collaborate across functions to strengthen controls and processes.

You will mentor Staff Accountants, support external and internal reporting, and push for continuous improvement with AI-enabled solutions while partnering with Treasury, FP&A, and Shared Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years at Senior Accountant level or equivalent.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Passed CPA sections or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record month-end close entries and validate documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews for accuracy.
• Conduct analytical reviews to identify risks and support decisions.
• Support quarterly reporting and disclosures with schedules and analyses.
• Drive process improvements using AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor Staff Accountants and ensure accuracy across activities.
• Collaborate with Shared Services, Treasury, FP&A and other partners.
