Job summary

H-E Parts International is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance team. You will handle month-end close, reconciliations, fixed assets, leases, cash and treasury activities, and support accounts receivable with the Credit Manager.

The role offers exposure to manufacturing finance and cross-functional collaboration. You will develop your understanding of the company’s customers and credit practices, participate in audits, and contribute to process improvements across accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills with data analysis and large data sets.
• Experience with ERP or other accounting systems.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD-denominated currency activity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and journal entries.
• Own balance sheet and income statement accounts; investigate variances.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits and external reporting requirements.
• Manage fixed assets, additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Maintain lease accounting records and schedules.
• Prepare bank and cash reconciliations and treasury activities.
• Support accounts receivable and collaborate with Credit Manager.
• Conduct financial analysis and support process improvements.
• Assist with inventory observations and related accounting.
• Travel one to two times per year for inventory observations.
