Job summary

HyperLight Corporation in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting across AP, AR, customer billing, and fixed assets with active involvement in the monthly close. You will ensure timely vendor payments and accurate asset tracking while supporting audits.

The role requires US GAAP knowledge, strong Excel, and NetSuite experience, with a CPA and Big 4 background preferred for growth in a fast-moving hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth hardware or manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and AP/AR/billing/fixed asset processes.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP; ability to configure AP/AR workflows.
• Experience with AP automation, expense management, and billing tools (Ramp preferred).
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with non-finance stakeholders.
• CPA license and Big 4 audit experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounts payable cycle from invoice intake to payment.
• Manage accounts receivable, billing accuracy, and collections.
• Own the fixed asset sub-ledger and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close and audits.
• Assist external audits and maintain internal controls.
