Job summary

U.S. Compliance is seeking a senior accountant to join our accounting and finance team in Minnesota, working closely with the controller and CFO. This role offers real ownership from day one: you will lead the month-end close and manage accounts receivable, building strong relationships with our clients along the way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• Experience managing AR collections and direct customer follow-up.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel; ability to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Own close tasks from start to finish with autonomy.
• Manage accounts receivable, monitor aging and cash flow.
• Serve as a trusted resource for accounting questions across departments and clients.
• Support external audits and data gathering, schedules and documentation.
• Assist with NetSuite implementation, data validation, and testing.
• Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls and documentation.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses, reporting and special projects.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline close and collections.
