Job summary

CFS in Deerfield, IL is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead month-end close, prepare financial statements, and drive improvements across accounting operations.

You will manage deferred revenue, multi-state tax compliance, and revenue recognition in NetSuite ARM, partnering with leadership on strategic insights and scalable processes. CPA preferred; 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience with deferred revenue experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• NetSuite experience preferred, including exposure to ARM/revenue recognition processes.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and core accounting operations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze variances, trends, and key financial results
• Manage deferred revenue and revenue recognition processes within NetSuite ARM
• Oversee multi-state sales and use tax compliance, filings, and state registrations
• Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy across accounting-related transactions
• Drive process improvements and support financial reporting needs across the organization
