Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance organization in Palo Alto, CA. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting close processes, and driving process improvements in a high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, and strong technical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a finance environment.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Support inventory, fixed assets, cost accounting, or other specialized areas as assigned
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual divisional balance sheet reconciliations
• Collaborate with accounting staff to foster a supportive work environment
• Work closely with stakeholders in Tax, FP&A, Financial Reporting, and other business units to build and implement solutions that ensure seamless operations
• Collaborate with auditors to provide accurate and timely submission of requested documentation
• Perform ad hoc duties and analysis as assigned by management
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices
