Georgia-Pacific, a Koch company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide high-level accounting support for the Building Products segment and mills. The role emphasizes financial reporting, variance analysis, and monthly close in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong accounting skills, business partnering, and a drive for process improvement while working in a hybrid onsite role at the GP HQ in downtown Atlanta, GA.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Experience in large company accounting roles with GL, month-end close, intercompany, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with ETL tools like Alteryx to transform/automate processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end close for the Building Products segment and ensure GL accuracy.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide ad hoc information and analyses to Operating Management, Tax, Audit, and Corporate.
• Own accounting workflows, promote efficiency, and reduce waste via process improvements.
• Drive transformation by leveraging technology enablers and automation tools.
• Contribute to Internal Financial Controls (IFC) framework and governance.
• Support PBM culture and company values in daily work processes.
