Job summary

IMS Integrated Merchandising Solutions in Skokie, IL seeks an Accountant to deliver accurate month-end close, reporting, and analysis for major clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to prepare journal entries, reconcile balances, and support budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent communication.
• Strong Excel skillset (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, If/Then).

Responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely month-end close and reporting processes.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and accounting transactions.
• Produce internal and external financial reports at the business-unit level.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and audit-control compliance.
• Assist with data collection for annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
