Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA license is preferred.
• 4+ years of Accounting experience is required.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance is preferred.
• Former Audit and M&A experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manages month-end close calendar and performs monthly close duties including preparing and/or reviewing journal entries related to assigned areas (fixed assets, leases, intangibles, revenue, equity, accruals).
• Prepares general ledger account reconciliations and resolves open items.
• Supports US fixed assets functions including asset additions, retirements, transfers, roll forwards, and asset counts.
• Maintains monthly trial balances and financials, runs consolidation, and prepares related journal entries and analyses for management.
• Participates in the annual external audit by preparing workpapers and assisting with Audited Financial Statements and Footnotes per US GAAP.
• Mentors team members on US GAAP and internal controls, and updates processes for new accounting guidance.
