Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior to join our CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) group supporting the Logistics Industry based out of our Minneapolis MN office. The logistics team serves clients in distribution, trucking, warehousing, and 3PL sectors, providing outsourced accounting and strategic financial leadership.

The wage range for this position in Minnesota is: $67,000.00 - $115,000.00. Our compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth, with geography and experience affecting pay

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required; combination of related experience and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops an understanding of each client’s business/operations and manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts.
• Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and payroll postings.
• Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations; prepares and reviews financial statements and GL analyses; documents processes and backups.
• Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers and tax workpapers for clients.
• Oversees workflow and quality of work of associates and analysts; supervising efficiency and quality.
• Assists with internal audits, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
