Job summary

The company is seeking a Senior Accountant, Brokerage and Derivatives to strengthen the financial foundation for its growing digital assets business. You will own close, regulatory reporting, and controls for FCM and Broker-Dealer entities, partnering with accounting, product, engineering, legal, and compliance teams.

You will drive process improvements, support audits, and help scale operations while ensuring regulatory readiness and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both.
• Active CPA license and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Direct experience with regulatory reporting and compliance in FINRA, SEC, CFTC, or NFA environments.
• Ability to translate complex business activity into sound accounting processes and communicate technical issues clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent priorities across audit, close, and reporting cycles under regulatory deadlines.
• Availability to work Eastern Time hours to support daily regulatory filing deadlines.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for the FCM and Broker-Dealer entities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate regulatory reporting for the CFTC, NFA, and other regulators.
• Lead coordination of internal and external audits with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Design and improve internal controls over accounting, regulatory reporting, and compliance processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on new product launches ensuring regulatory readiness from inception.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate and scale accounting operations.
