Job summary

Confidential Employer in Euless, TX is seeking an accounting professional with 3+ years of experience to support day-to-day operations across a growing multi-entity organization. You will work with leadership on GAAP-compliant financial reporting and process improvements.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and audits. This role offers strong growth, a comprehensive benefits package, and an on-site work environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of accounting experience with GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong ownership, initiative, and cross-functional collaboration to support leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Controller with day-to-day accounting across multiple entities.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close; prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Produce internal and external financial statements for leadership.
  • Assist with audits and provide documentation for auditors.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Improve accounting processes and controls in a growing organization.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Location: This role is primarily on-site in Euless, TX, offering close partnership with leadership and the broader team. There may be an opportunity for limited hybrid flexibility over time once established in the role, although the position will remain primarily office based. Occasional travel, generally 1 to 2 trips per month as needed, is expected.

Note: Candidates should bring 3+ years of accounting experience along with strong attention to detail, ownership and initiative, and the ability to work effectively across functions. A strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and advanced Excel skills is important for success in this role.

Job Description
  • Support the Controller with day to day accounting operations across a growing multi entity organization
  • Manage general ledger activities and help lead accurate, timely month end and year end close processes
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and internal accounting standards
  • Prepare internal and external financial reporting for leadership and business stakeholders
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
  • Assist with annual audits and provide documentation and support for auditor requests
  • Partner with operations and other cross functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions
  • Support and guide accounting activities involving accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and related functions
  • Help improve accounting processes and systems as the organization continues to grow
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and independent judgment
  • Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with construction, restoration, field services, or percentage of completion accounting is preferred
  • NetSuite experience is preferred
  • Multi entity accounting experience is preferred
  • CPA, progress toward CPA, public accounting, or leadership experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require
