Job summary

Leoforce is partnering with an established aerospace manufacturer in Rockmart, GA to hire a Senior Accountant. This role supports financial reporting, general accounting, compliance, and process improvement, leading the close process and ensuring GAAP adherence.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong technical accounting skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while working onsite at the Rockmart facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP and Syteline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for accurate reporting.
• Review journal entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Support internal controls and coordinate with departments for supporting docs.
• Assist with audits and tax-related filings.
