Atrium is partnering with a growing behavioral health company in Central Florida. The company has over 50 locations and continues to expand through acquisition and organic growth. They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$75k - $90k

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will partner with multiple departments to support the month-end close process, grant funding, compliance, and general accounting duties.

Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant

• Ensure all billing activities comply with grant terms and conditions, as well as federal, state, and organizational regulations.
• Oversee the entire grant billing process, including preparation, submission, and reconciliation of invoices for grant-funded projects.
• Assist with internal and external audits related to grant-funded activities, providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
• Work closely with program managers, grant administrators, and finance team members to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
• Assist with month-end close responsibilities and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in grant billing and accounting.
  
  

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

• 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  
  

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years focused on grant billing and management.
• Strong knowledge of grant accounting principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
