Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile bank statements to general ledger activity.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.
  • Support and monitor the monthly close process to ensure entries and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Review general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and coordinate necessary corrections or adjustments.
  • Maintain complete supporting documentation for accounting transactions and related financial activity.
  • Prepare internal financial reports, including labor-hour analyses, project financial dashboards, and financial statements.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation and review.
  • Analyze financial data to identify significant variances, trends, and potential reporting concerns.
  • Partner with operational and corporate departments to obtain information needed for accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready financial records.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to documentation requests.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Assist with additional accounting responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Wayne, PA | Direct Hire | $85,000–$95,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a direct-hire opportunity in Wayne, PA. This position plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records and will work closely with Accounting, Finance, and operational leaders across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and account analysis. Experience within a government contracting or multi-company environment is highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
