Clean Control, a premier manufacturer of cleaning products, is seeking a Senior Accountant in Warner Robins, GA. This role supports month-end close, general ledger integrity, and financial analysis, collaborating with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3+ years of experience in financial statement prep, budgeting, AP/AR, and strong Excel skills. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations, including accruals and reclassifications, and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with the month-end close process to meet deadlines
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and P&L variance explanations
• Calculate and prepare monthly commission earnings
• Post accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process check disbursements
• Perform payroll coding and related journal entries
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in month-end close, general ledger integrity, and financial analysis, working closely with the Accounting Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure the company’s financial position is clearly and reliably reflected.

This position is ideal for an accountant who enjoys hands‑on accounting, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations, including accruals and reclassifications, and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with the month‑end close process, ensuring deadlines are met accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and P&L variance explanations
• Calculate and prepare monthly commission earnings
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable postings
• Process check disbursements
• Perform payroll coding and related journal entries
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assigned
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent experience and education.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a Staff Accountant in the area of financial statement preparation, budgeting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi‑task and be detail oriented.
• Understanding of spreadsheet and database applications.
• Must have strong knowledge of Accounting principles, including U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to analyze financial data.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Excellent reasoning skills.
• Ability to work independently, self‑motivated and possess a strong work ethic.
