Job summary

Antithesis is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial close, reporting, and compliance. You’ll manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and audit support, taking ownership of the numbers.

Our Vienna, VA office operates daily with a strong emphasis on accuracy, processes, and collaboration. The role requires 4+ years of accounting experience, GAAP expertise in software, and familiarity with NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience; public accounting background preferred.
• CPA or active CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, particularly revenue recognition for software.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Apply GAAP standards, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, to our SaaS business model.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support internal controls and document accounting policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit and interim reviews.
• Assist with tax compliance, including support for federal and state filings.
• Identify opportunities to improve close efficiency and accuracy.

About The Role

Antithesis is looking for a Senior Accountant to support our financial close, reporting, and compliance functions. You'll work across the general ledger, reconciliations, and audit support doing the work that keeps our books accurate and our financial infrastructure sound. This is a role for someone who takes ownership of the numbers. You should bring technical accounting knowledge, a systematic approach to close, and a mindset that treats clean financials as a form of craft.We're in the office daily in Vienna, VA.

Compensation Range: $95K - $115K
