Swift Navigation is hiring a Senior Accountant to support the full accounting cycle, including month-end close, reconciliations, payroll, invoicing, collections, and consolidation across global entities.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will assist audit and tax filings and help administer NetSuite, while collaborating with a global team to meet deadlines and drive accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Audit experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly accruals and support full-cycle close.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly flux analysis and statutory entries for international entities.
• Support consolidation and prepare payroll journal entries; process US payroll.
• Liaise with statutory firms on payroll, reconciliations and entries.
• Prepare customer invoices and manage collections; record revenue share entries.
• Prepare reporting for banks and customers; assist tax filings and audits.
• Assist NetSuite administration and drive audit readiness.
• Take on ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Corporate Controller.

Swift Navigation is looking for a Senior Accountant to support our full accounting cycle, including month-end close, reconciliations, payroll, customer invoicing and collections, and consolidation across our global entities. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will also support audit, tax and statutory compliance, and help administer NetSuite.

We are looking for a detail-oriented accountant who takes ownership of their work and is passionate about making an impact at a fast-growing company. You are a team player who builds effective relationships throughout the company. You are curious, take initiative, have a bias for action, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly accruals and support the full-cycle month-end close
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly flux analysis
• Record monthly statutory entries for international entities and support consolidation
• Prepare monthly payroll journal entries and process US payroll
• Liaise with statutory accounting firms on payroll, bank reconciliations, and related entries
• Prepare customer invoices and manage collections
• Book partner revenue share entries and prepare related reporting
• Prepare reporting for external parties such as banks and customers
• Record GST and sales tax return entries, and assist the Corporate Controller in preparing tax filings with our external tax firm
• Support the annual audit, including preparing PBCs and driving audit readiness
• Support tax return preparation, including preparing PBCs
• Assist the Corporate Controller with NetSuite system administration
• Take on ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Corporate Controller

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• CPA preferred but not required
• Prior audit experience preferred

Nice to Have:

• Experience with FloQast, NetSuite, Drivetrain, and Zenskar
• Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm experience
