For our client, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support core accounting operations and financial reporting in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will help ensure compliance with GAAP while maintaining strong internal controls and accurate reporting across multiple accounting areas. The position also partners closely with audit, tax, and systems stakeholders to improve processes and support timely financial close activities.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under GAAP
• Support external audit processes
• Account for leases under ASC 842
• Manage prepaid expenses and intercompany reconciliations
• Track fixed assets, including work-in-process and internally developed software
• Collaborate with the tax team on property, sales and use tax matters
• Evaluate accounting systems and recommend enhancements

Qualifications

• CPA license required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a senior role
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with SEC reporting
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables
• Technical accounting expertise with a commitment to staying current on standards
• Strong attention to detail in high-volume environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
